Funeral & End-of-Life Planning

Your wishes. Your story. A farewell that reflects you.

Planning a farewell can feel overwhelming—whether you are considering your own wishes or preparing to honor someone you love.

I offer thoughtful ceremony planning, personalized writing, and professional officiant services to help make those decisions more manageable. Together, we can create a meaningful farewell that reflects a person’s life, relationships, values, and beliefs.

You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin.

Planning Ahead

Give your wishes a voice before they are needed.

Advance ceremony planning creates space to consider how you would like to be remembered, without the pressure of making every decision during a time of loss.

Through a guided conversation, I can help you explore and document:

  • The kind of ceremony or gathering you would like

  • Important stories, memories, and relationships to acknowledge

  • Readings, music, poems, prayers, or meaningful passages

  • Spiritual, religious, cultural, or secular preferences

  • People you would like involved and how they might participate

  • Traditions or ceremony elements you want included—or left out

  • Personal messages and legacy reflections you would like to share

Advance Ceremony & Legacy Planning — Starting at $300

Includes a collaborative planning session and a written ceremony framework you can share with loved ones and those helping carry out your wishes.

Planning ahead does not require a diagnosis or a particular stage of life. It can simply be a thoughtful way to make your preferences known.

When a Loss Has Occurred

Help finding the words when they are hardest to find.

If someone you love has died, I can work with your family to prepare and lead a ceremony that honors who they were.

Preparation may include:

  • Family conversations and story gathering

  • Personalized ceremony writing

  • A tribute or eulogy framework

  • Guidance with readings, music, and shared participation

  • Meaningful rituals or moments of remembrance

  • Ceremony coordination with your funeral home, cemetery, venue, or family representative

  • Professional officiant services

There is room for tears, laughter, complicated feelings, and the memories that make a person unmistakably themselves.

Respect for Your Beliefs

I will listen to what matters to you and help shape a ceremony that respects those wishes.

What My Services Cover

My work focuses on ceremony wishes, personal storytelling, tribute preparation, and officiating. Funeral-home arrangements, burial or cremation services, legal documents, financial planning, and medical decisions are handled separately with the appropriate professionals.

Advance planning and officiating a future ceremony are separate services. Final pricing depends on the scope, location, travel, and specialized requests.
